Program Leader - Lifetime Ewe Management

Location:  Hamilton, Victoria

An opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and experienced Program Leader to be appointed to drive the highly successful national Lifetime Ewe Management Program. This program has been one of the most successful training programs in the wool and sheep industries history and is now impacting on around 28% of the ewe flock of Australia.

Located at our head office in Hamilton and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this exciting role will be responsible for the overall management of this program nationally, the role will involve high level communications with our trainers, funder, industry stakeholders and staff as well as a significantly high level of national program administration and oversight. An in-depth understanding of the Australian sheep industry would be favourably considered.

To be successful in this role you will have had a minimum of 6 years' experience in a senior program management, preferably at a national level, have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a business, you will be a strategic thinker, a problem solver, be focused on operational excellence and be able to contribute to organisational change within a highly technology driven environment. 

Rural Industries Skill Training Centre has been operating from its Hamilton Campus since 1992. We are a leading independent provider of vocational education and training in agriculture, committed to assisting people to gain employment and improve productivity in the agribusiness sector. 

Requirements: 
Applicants will need to be an Australian citizen and have a valid Australian driver's licence and their own car.  Office space, administration and training will be provided as part of the package. Salary negotiable dependent on skills set and experience.
