Over the past month, I’ve had the chance to meet many of you at our Information Sessions, hear inspiring student stories, and even welcome the ABC Landline team onto campus. It’s a reminder of the important role RIST plays in shaping the future of agriculture in our region.
Coming Up.
In September, a number of RIST students will join the Gippsland Dairy Innovation Study Tour hosted by DemoDAIRY Foundation. This four day event will visit some of Victoria’s most innovative dairy farms and businesses and provide participants an opportunity to engage with industry leaders, Young Dairy Network members, and gain practical insights and connections.
Our National Programs which include Lifetime Ewe Management, Weaners for Profit and Heifers for Profit have been experiencing strong demand from across the country with our industry partners AWI and MLA being integral participants in the success of these programs. We also welcome a number of new trainers coming on board to further enhance the growth and quality of these programs.
