Shearing, Soil & Science: Students Explore Ag Careers at RIST. Forty Year 9 students from across the Glenelg Southern Grampians region took part in RIST’s annual Careers in Agriculture Taster Day, diving into hands-on workshops in shearing, livestock, agri-tech, agronomy and more. Coordinated by GSGLLEN, the event gave students a real-world look into the dynamic career opportunities in modern agriculture — both on and off the farm.
