In an inspiring ceremony held at the Kantor Family Performing Arts Centre last Friday August 16, RIST CEO Bill Hamill proudly congratulated more than 40 graduating students on their achievements, with the RIST Chairman Tony Fleetwood presenting the certificates and awards.

The graduates, who completed courses ranging from Certificate II and III in Agriculture and Shearing, to Diploma of Agriculture, represent the next generation of leaders in agriculture.

The Mid-Year Graduation marks the second graduation ceremony hosted by RIST in 2024, following a previous event in March dedicated to the Class of 2023. The continued high numbers of graduating students underscores the growing interest and commitment within our local communities to pursue advanced training and education in agriculture and wool at RIST, both vital sectors of the economy.

“It is always a fantastic event to witness the culmination of our students’ hard work,” said CEO Bill Hamill. “We are immensely proud of their achievements, which reflect not only their eagerness to learn and apply their skills but also the unwavering support from their families, employers, schools, industry partners and our dedicated RIST staff and trainers.”

RIST remains committed to fostering the development of skilled professionals in agriculture and related industries, ensuring that our graduates are well-equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.
