Welcome to the final edition of the RIST RoundUp for 2025.
As the year closes, it’s a great time to reflect on what we’ve achieved together throughout the year. I take this opportunity to pause and to celebrate the people at the heart of RIST. Our students, trainers, staff, and industry partners – who have all contributed to a year of learning, growth, and achievements that strengthen agriculture across our regions.
This year has given us many reasons to be proud. Despite 2025 being one of the driest years on record in a number of parts of Australia, the resilience and adaptability of farmers across our communities has been inspiring.

Out-Takes from the classroom. RIST training wrapped up just in time for the busy season – giving our students the perfect opportunity to take their skills straight from the classroom onto the farm.
📸 Pictured are the Yass LTEM group and Our Certificate II and III Agriculture students, who wrapped up November and early December with a series of hands-on farm visits and field trips across the region to Wyndara Robotic Dairy, Timboon Ice Cream, Tarunga Red Poll, Mooralla Merinos and Arakoola Border Leicesters.
