As we step into October, there’s a lot happening across RIST and the wider agricultural community.
With the installation of our new Igloo 360 cylinder, we are creating a range of 360 experiences to assist our trainers deliver high quality and engaging experiences to support our students learning experiences. One of these experiences is to create a time-lapse video through the twelve-month pasture and crop cycle, providing students with the ability to experience different phases of the plant cycle, even out of season. RIST will be collaborating with the researchers on a mixed pasture research trial at the Hamilton Smart Farm to capture this footage. This is a great example of how innovation and collaboration can strengthen the future of agriculture.
