It is hard to believe April has been and gone and we are now well into cold Autumn mornings and waiting for the green break (to break!) Scenery surrounding the Hamilton and Terang campuses showcase to our students the busy period that is Autumn, with machines drilling crops in the ground, farmers like clockwork each day towing grain carts and feeding hay in paddocks to livestock, newborn lambs appearing around the place and calving keeping things busy in the Dairy. Things ARE BUSY.. But that is the exciting nature of Agriculture, always something to do and something new to learn! And its what drives us at RIST to keep up and continue to nurture the passion our students have for the Agricultural industry. This week we announced our upcoming Information Sessions for August. The Sessions, a mix of in person and online, will cover the Certificate II and III in Agriculture courses and the Certificate II in Shearing (Shearing School) courses. In the classroom we are a step closer to our renovations being complete at the Hamilton Campus. We hope you like the look of the renovated classroom (see gallery below 👇📸) The design is modern, fresh and a fantastic space embracing technological connectivity to take our classrooms to the world. – Although world class, we have an inkling students may still prefer their much relished outdoor classrooms; (the paddock, shed or workshop, or RIST gardens also as pictured below) As for so many of our students, that is where they feel at home and where the magic really happens.✨
