Student Spotlight: Kiarna & Taleah

Sisters Kiarna and Taleah are paving their own paths in the dairy industry with the support of DemoDAIRY Foundation scholarships and their studies at RIST.

 

Kiarna is completing her Diploma of Agriculture and recently joined a New Zealand Dairy Study Tour, gaining insights into innovations like Halter collars and Kiwi cross breeds.

 

Taleah has stepped into the workforce while studying her Certificate III in Agriculture, building skills and experience on local dairy farms.

 

Both say the scholarships have been invaluable in covering study costs, tools, and work gear – helping them focus on learning and career growth.

We’re proud to see Kiarna and Taleah developing their skills and passion for dairying, with strong futures ahead.
