Lifetime Ewe Management (LTEM)
Lifetime Ewe Management (LTEM) enables participants to build knowledge and additional skills to better manage ewes in variable conditions.
LTEM Trainers deliver the LTEM course to groups of particpants spread across six one-day sessions within 12-months. Trainers coordinate groups and deliver the course content on-farm.
Trainers are responsible for teaching participants to actively quantify how nutrition and management practices influence ewe and progeny performance across both the annual reproductive cycle and throughout their lifetime.
Weaners for Profit (WfP)
Weaners for Profit (WfP) enables producers to analyse weaner performance, manage post-weaning, manage ewe lambs and hoggets during joining, early and late pregnancy as well as preparing hoggets for joining and reviewing ewe lamb performance.
WfP Trainers deliver the WfP course to groups of 5-7 participants across five one-day sessions within 12-months. Trainers coordinate groups and deliver the course content on-farm.
Trainers are responsible for ensuring participants understand the drivers of weaner survival and genetic selection to achieve improved efficiencies in your livestock and pasture management. And help them develop the skills and confidence to analyse weaner performance and implement strategies for weaner management through to joining ewe lambs and hoggets.
Heifers for Profit (HfP)
Heifers for Profit (HfP) is designed to give particpants the skills and confidence to manage heifer nutrition to improve animal welfare, increase future reproductive success, optimise stocking rates, and increase whole farm profitability.
HfP Trainers deliver the HfP course to groups of 5-7 participants across six one-day sessions within a 15-months post-weaning. Trainers coordinate groups and deliver the course content on-farm.
Trainers are responsible for ensuring each participant is trained in getting heifers in-calf efficiently, managing pregnancy and achieving critical weights, transitioning the heifer into a cow – preparation for calving and re-breeding.
