AWI Stratefly & amplifly workshops held at rist
Last week, sheep advisors from near and far gathered at the Hamilton RIST campus across three days for the Australian Wool Innovation Stratefly and Amplifly workshop train-the-trainer sessions.
The workshops offered a fantastic opportunity for attendees to become accredited to deliver these two workshops, that sit within the AWI Flystrike Extension Program.
RIST – Your Local Agricultural College team members, John Byron, Program Coordinator Certificate II and III in Agriculture, and Wool and Shearing Program Coordinator, Raelene Laidlaw, formed part of the collective of industry experts who attended the course, taking home key learnings in innovative fly strike management practices.
Thankyou to Australian Wool Innovation for hosting the workshop with RIST and for a fantastic three days with learnings bound to strengthen industry knowledge and practice against the impact flies have on our industry.
