Our Certificate II in Wool Handling is an entry level qualification into the Wool Industry. Under general supervison in one of our shearing / wool schools, students will learn how to carry out routine wool handling tasks which include but are not limited to wool pressing, board duties, penning sheep, observations & assisting in the preparation of the sheep for shearing and crutching.
Students will encounter 6 training days alongside 2 follow up visits for this qualificaiton. Typically students will attend a week long school which is conducted in a functioning shearing shed. Students will experience a real-workplace experience including discussions with the grower.
